Hi! This is a big letter story! You probably don't have any idea what a big letter story is anyway. A big letter story is a story with big letters to waste space! :D That's what it is, I don't know if I'm the only one who made that up but... WHO CARES!
Here's the story:
Almost Wild n' Free (A big letter story)
There once was a horse
Who wasn't wild yet, of course-
CUUUUT!
THAT'S NOT THE STORY!
This is the story:
Almost Wild n' Free (A big letter story)
Another story about Strawberry.
Strawberry was waiting in her stall, waiting to go out to her pasture with her friend Starry. But No, because she was in trouble for bucking a little kid off of her back. "That served him right," Thought Strawberry "He was digging his heels into my ribs and I could tell he was scared to death.
Strawberry was one of the friendliest riding horses and now the whole stable thinks she should be in a rodeo. Every horse who went by her stall teased her about rodeos while she sulked in the back it.
Finally, her groom came in and put the lead on her halter and led her to her pasture she saw Starry, oh how nice it was to see her!
"What a relief," Strawberry thought.
"Oi," said Starry. "I've heard of you bucking a frightened child off your back.
"Served him right," Strawberry mumbled. "He was digging his heels into my rib cage!"
"Must've been a relief."
"Oh yes!" Strawberry said. "I couldn't stand that kid, he's been riding me since Tuesday."
"What is today?"
"Friday."
"Oh."
Starry and Strawberry grazed peacefully until they saw one of the stallions kicking open fences! He galloped over to their pasture and he kicked the fence open! Freedom! Only Strawberry's ancestors have been free. Starry was the first to dart out, Strawberry tagged along.
Starry is the fastest horse at the stable. She sped ahead of the stallion. Strawberry suddenly recognised him! The stallions name is Freedom. Strawberry should've known. Freedom was the wildest and as unruly as a colt, that's how he got his name of course.
Then a whole bunch of grooms saddled up a few of the horses brought the emergancy ropes and galloped off.
They caught Freedom first, for Freedom turned around to face the grooms, but the grooms were experianced ropers.
Next they caught a few of other Appaloosas. There went Apple, a mean little filly, she's been making fun of Strawberry for a long time.
Next was Strawberry she started lagging behind, she noticed Starry, who's been in the front for a while.
The last Appaloosa that was still galloping was Starry, one groom was left while the other ones were taking the rest back to the stable.
Starry started galloping faster and faster. But they saved this groom for he had the second fastest horse. Then the groom started swinging his rope and then he did it. Starry was done for, the groom had caught her and he was heading back.
When Starry was back in the pasture with Strawberry they both said I guess we are both wild in our own ways.
Starry was wild for her speed.
And Strawberry was wild for bucking.
THE END
