spelling lesson 27 proofreading

Many people were cynikal about the usefulness of the microprocessor when it was first invented in 1971. One reason for the reaction may have been the publicity that surrounded the invention, which rose to mythycal heights. Still, it's safe safe to say that most of the people who remember the introduction of the microprocessor would be amazed by it's many uses today. This syntetic chip is made from siliconcrystalls. Less than a square inch in size, each chip serves as the "brain" for such devices as microwave ovens and cell phones. Removing this tiny "brain" would paralize even huge cars.
